From Creative Memories to Panstoria…an Upgrade

I took the plunge today and converted my StoryBook Creator and my Memory Manager to Panstoria’s Artisan and Historian.  The main reason is that because the Creative Memories versions of the software is no longer supported and with the Etsy business, I didn’t want to lose anything.

Also, my digital content needs a bit of re-fresh so I wanted to make sure I had software that would support the new content.

So I took the leap and downloaded the new software.

PrintPanstoria

Purchase software from Panstoria.com

Historian —–>  http://www.panstoria.com/historian/overview/

Artisan ——->  http://www.panstoria.com/artisan/overview/

After your purchase you will get an email with your Download link and the product key.

Historian,

Here are the steps to get your Memory Manager into Historian (pssst…it’s super easy)

Download the software & go through the install wizard and activate your software.

You can create a new “Vault” but it’s not necessary.

Just navigate on your computer, or external hard drive where you old vault was saved and open it up in Historian and you are ready to go.

Artisan

With Historian you had a to think a little bit but not with Artisan.

Download the software and go through the wizard.  Go through the process to activate your software.

When the software installs it will say.  Hey we see you already have Storybook Creator Do you want to Migrate your content?

CLICK MIGRATE!!

Almost instantaneously it’s done and you can go on your way creating beautiful things.  It’s really that simple!

Please comment if you have any questions.  As always you can find me on Facebook  The Crafty Organizer

Can’t wait to show you my first project using the new software.  Off to Create some more cards, invites, and more.

(pssst check out the Etsy site —————————————->)

Time to get cracking on Christmas

So sorry friends that I didn’t do the 31 days of Christmas this year.  We are still trying to get settled in our new home and I am still figuring out the new job.  So keeping up with Etsy orders is about all I can do on a day to day basis.

With that said the Holidays are right around the corner.  I can’t even believe it.  So I need to get cracking on making some gifts happen because now because we live so much further away from everybody I need to get things done and shipped way earlier than usual.  No more last minute gifts for us which makes me excited and nervous all at the same time.

So with that said it’s time to get my craftiness on and make some Christmas cards and start thinking about the infamous Black Friday shopping.  We are excited to start some new family traditions in our new home.

So stay tuned for more exciting projects coming and as I create new things I will be sure to share them with you!!  🙂

Stay crafty people!!!

Holiday Cards are coming

Because I haven’t been doing the 31 days of Christmas this year.  Moving to a new state over 900 miles away has kind of thrown off my schedule.  I am getting into the holiday spirit and thinking about designing some holiday cards.

While I have posted three winter wedding invites, Check them out  www.etsy.com/shop/WarmTidings, I need to expand my offerings.

I will have both digital and printed version available.   My goal is to do a huge push for Holiday Cards starting November 1st.  Let’s see if I can actually meet that goal.

I am also looking for ideas on how to promote my business and what the best way to expand.  I really want this to take off and I need to spend more time on it, but any advice my readers can give is greatly appreciated!!!!

Calling all Photographers…I need your HELP!!!

CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS

So, I’m not sure if this is okay, but I will try anyway.  I am looking for some photographers that have taken some pictures of weddings, babies and children so that I can use their pictures on my etsy site.  While, I think my husband and I look fabulous, and my son is adorable, we are not a great marketing tool.

For those that haven’t checked it out yet here is my Etsy Site:  www.etsy/shop/WarmTidings.  You can also click ——> there is  a link where it says “I sell on Etsy”

I create a bunch of different invitations for birthdays, birth announcements, and weddings, but clearly you can see the pictures don’t help.

Case in point (Yup that’s me)

Fairy Birthday Invite

So, what’s in it for you.  If I use your picture I will give you free advertising in the listing with all of your information, you can even leave your watermark on the picture, if for some reason it get’s cropped out, I will replace it.

I will also feature all of the photographers that I use on my Facebook page and here on the blog to help build your business.

For local photographers, I am in the New York area so if you are trying to build your business I am happy to help!   My etsy site gets pretty good traffic, but I think it will get even better if I can get some professional pictures on my listings.

Be sure to check out my page.  If you are interested in contributing.  Please send me an email with a link to your website at:  CraftyOrganizer80@gmail.com.

Also please like my Facebook Page!  I’m trying to build up the business and get to 100 likes!
